Norihiro Furukawa is a Japanese composer and sound designer veteran who has been in the game industry for over 30 years. He is known for games like Grid Seeker and Densha de GO!.

Furukawa started in the game industry in 1988 when he joined Taito's sound team Zuntata. During his time there, he worked on the music and sound effects to many of their arcade games, as well as a few console titles. In addition, he also did the audio for many of Taito's amusement games. In 2000, he left Taito as an in-house employee to go freelance, but continued to work with the company.

He is known for his complex musical style, being able to compose for a wide variety of musical genres.

Since 2011, he has also been working as an instructor at HAL Tokyo Music Department, a vocational school.
